On May 10, 2023, the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority (RUSA) Board of Directors approved a $10.00 per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU) increase for a new sewer service rate of $40.00 effective July 1, 2023. The new rate will be on the August 1st billing (for July service). The last rate increase was in December of 2016.
As a Board of Directors, we are serious about our responsibility to the community and strive to provide sewer service at the best price possible. Due to increased costs in operations, maintenance and construction, and increasing regulatory requirements of an aging sewer system, the rate increase could not be avoided any longer.
Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
