District employees clean 33 percent of the 166-mile wastewater collection system every year. Using combination sewer cleaning trucks, we clean every pipeline using high pressure nozzles to scour the line and pull or “flush” debris to a sewer manhole where it is removed using the vacuum system on the truck.
