The Collection Department is responsible for maintaining the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority's sewer conveyance system. The conveyance system is approximately 15.6 square miles and services about 11,000 connections. The system includes nine public and one private pump stations, 4100 manholes and approximately 160 miles of sewer main lines, ranging in size from four inches to 42 inches in diameter.
It is the mission of the Collection Department to support the mission of the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority (RUSA) by protecting public health and the environment for our community and providing high-quality wastewatercollection maintenance services in a safe, cost-efficient and responsive manner.
